(The office remains as sterile and monochrome as always. MARK, HELLY, IRVING, and DYLAN stand together, gazing at their desks. The tension is thick, yet there's a hint of exhilaration in the air.)

MARK (astonished) You won’t believe what I just discovered. Miss Casey… she’s actually my wife, Jemma.

HELLY (eyes wide) What? That’s amazing, Mark!

MARK (speaking rapidly, overwhelmed) They told me she was dead in the outside world. But I found a wedding photo at my sister’s house. My wife Jemma is Miss Casey! And she’s gone out there!

HELLY (shocked) They’re faking deaths? That’s outrageous.

DYLAN: You owe me big time. And a tie. Milchick barged through my door and eventually cut my tie. Then he warned me I was in deep trouble but just shoved me into the home-time elevator. A moment later, I was back here this morning.

HELLY (clenching her fists, trying to remain cheerful) This is ridiculous. We were so close. What happened?

MARK (frowning) You mean, why weren’t our Innies reset? We should be… dead.

IRVING (touching his desk, perplexed) They always reset us, right?

MARK (nodding) Exactly. Something feels different this time after our uprising. Perhaps they’ve changed something with our Outies?

HELLY (looking around at Irving and Mark) Yeah. Why would your Outies even come back to work?

IRVING: I found myself painting. I think it was the testing room hallway. Then I managed to drive my Outie’s car and nearly reached Burt G’s house. He’s Burt Goodman out there.

MARK (curious) The testing room hallway? How could you possibly know what that looks like?

IRVING (confused) I’m not sure; it just felt familiar.

HELLY (shaking her head and half-crazed, having been waiting for a moment) Here’s another revelation: I’m an Eagen. My Outie’s a jerk.

MARK (thoughtfully) That’s why they keep pushing you. And you got the message out? (HELLY nods)

DYLAN (matter-of-factly) Nailed it. That’s some serious bravery. (HELLY acknowledges with a nod)

MARK (reflectively) What do we think happens to Miss Casey… Jemma when she’s not on the clock?

HELLY (frowning) Yeah, where does she go? What does she do?

MARK (taking a deep breath) We have to rescue her.

(MARK and HELLY are seated in a secluded corner, away from the surveillance. Their voices are low but charged with excitement.)

HELLY (forcing a smile) I still can’t wrap my head around it. Miss Casey is your wife! And they led you to believe she was dead?

MARK (nodding, emotional) Yes. My Outie thought she died in a car accident. But somehow, she’s here now.

HELLY (smile fading slightly) I’m genuinely happy for you, Mark. This is extraordinary.

MARK (noticing her demeanor) Helly, are you alright?

HELLY (sighing, looking down) Yeah, it’s just… I felt a bond. And now… I’m not sure. It’s awkward.
