Harnessing the Universe's Support: Insights from Action-Takers

Written on

Chapter 1: Introduction to Universal Support

Have you ever heard of Richard Branson? This dynamic entrepreneur is known for his ventures in various fields, from launching rockets to making commercial space travel as accessible as a bus ride.

In 1984, Branson decided to dive into the airline industry, an area he was relatively unfamiliar with. He leased a used Boeing 747 and founded Virgin Atlantic. While many skeptics questioned his choice, today, Virgin Atlantic stands as a significant force in the airline market.

Now, consider J.K. Rowling, the brilliant mind behind the Harry Potter series. Before achieving global fame, Rowling faced rejection from over a dozen publishers. Nonetheless, she persevered, continuously resubmitting her manuscript until Bloomsbury Publishing finally took a chance on her. The rest, as they say, is history.

What do Richard Branson and J.K. Rowling have in common? It seems as though the universe was conspiring in their favor, guiding them toward their aspirations and eventual triumph. But what’s the underlying reason for this? Let’s explore this further through my own experience of running a half-marathon with minimal preparation.

To read the full details and see my mental dialogue leading up to the race, click here:

Note: Thank you for all the encouraging messages! Due to popular demand, here’s a detailed account of how the race unfolded.

The race was both mentally and physically demanding, consisting of four key mental stages. Each stage imparted invaluable lessons that I will carry with me forever:

  1. Less is More
  2. Guardian Angel
  3. The Dark Side and I
  4. Success is a Team Sport

In this article, I will delve into the second chapter: Guardian Angel.

Section 1.1: The Guardian Angel Experience

As I overcame the initial rush of motivation and found my running rhythm, I encountered other runners—some I passed, and some who overtook me.

This was more challenging than it may seem. As someone who thrives on competition, I had to remind myself:

"This is a race against myself, not against others."

At the 6-kilometer mark, I noticed a woman running alongside me, maintaining the same pace and gradually pushing forward. To my surprise, she turned out to be a middle-aged runner, preparing for a full marathon.

We struck up a conversation, and I was captivated by her experience and insights. As we continued to run together, she offered me invaluable tips on:

  • How to efficiently run downhill to conserve energy and gain speed.
  • Techniques for tackling uphill sections more effectively.
  • The importance of proper arm movement while running.

It was remarkable how quickly I could apply her advice!

As I ventured into the unknown beyond the 11 km mark—my previous limit—her encouragement helped me push beyond what I thought possible. Whenever I felt like slowing down, she seemed to sense my hesitation, providing just the right motivation to keep me going.

Thanks to her support, I completed the race when I might have otherwise faltered. And in turn, I made sure to encourage her during her tough moments. I am deeply grateful for her presence.

The Lesson: The universe favors those who take initiative. If you find yourself uncertain about a situation, the best approach is to take action.

Initiating movement creates new pathways in the universe, prompting it to support you in various ways. Sometimes assistance comes in the form of a guardian angel, sometimes as a gentle nudge, and at other times as seemingly serendipitous luck.

Action generates opportunities, and with the universe on your side, there are no limits to what you can achieve.

Section 1.2: Trusting the Universe's Support

The universe favors those who act, just as it did for J.K. Rowling and Richard Branson. It also extended its support to me!

By stepping into the unknown and taking action, I witnessed how the universe aligns circumstances and offers guidance when necessary.

Whether through unexpected lessons from fellow participants or other forms of assistance, the universe is always present to guide you along your journey.

If you feel uncertain about an aspect of your life, remember that taking action starts a process in which the universe collaborates to support you. Trust your instincts, embrace uncertainty, and watch the magic unfold.

In this video titled "How To Ask The Universe For Help (And Get It!)", we explore practical ways to request support from the universe and receive it.

Chapter 2: Embracing Action and Opportunity

The second video titled "How to Trust The Universe Supports You" delves into building trust in the universe's guidance and the benefits of taking action.
