The Sliding Panes feature enhances your ability to view multiple notes simultaneously. Initially, this functionality required a community plugin, but it is now integrated into Obsidian. To enable it, simply select 'Stack Tabs' from the dropdown menu in the top-right corner of the interface.

This feature is particularly beneficial when you need to reference multiple notes side by side, such as while working on a manuscript. The sliding panes allow you to see multiple files without overcrowding the view, which helps maintain readability.
